I've been checking out different stylus that would replace the stock plastic one. The ones I've checked out hang on the side of a Palm V, and that wouldn't fit nicely either. Panache the best one? I'm hesitating to pay the $8+ shipping for only a stylus. Gimme recommendations. Thanks.

The stylus from PDA Panache is great! I ordered one as soon as I got my Handspring, and 3 days later I got it in the mail. For those three days I lived in fear that I would scratch the screen before I got the new stylus. When it came, the difference was immediately noticeable. Definitely worth the $$.

I, too, love my PDA Panache! It has a great feel to it, heavy weight, nice bright tip. Well worth the money.
When I first got my visor, I purchased a multi-pen/stylus and found it wasn't always around when I needed to use my visor. I ended up using the stock stylus alot and hated it. Now, I have a great stylus ATTACHED to my Visor right where I need it. I have yet to get a stratch on my screen.

you'll be amazed at how smooth the pda panache stylus is. i acutally bought mine BEFORE i got my visor. I love it, even the chrome color looks good with my blue visor.

Thanks for your replies. Is there a good one that's also a pen that will fit the Visor? Thanks.

There's a stylus that's also a pen. This fits in the Visor well, the Slimline Throttle.

I ordered the new pen stylus for $13.95 at the same time as my Visor. It has a nice weight and writes reasonably well, though it is NOT refillable . #13.50 for a nonrefillable ballpoint pen is not cool though it is nice to have the pen and reset pin all in one place.

For what its worth, I think any stylus that fits in the case is good for emergencies only when you might not be carrying around a more robust stylus. The larger stylus/pen combos are much easier to use and make Grafitti writing smoother. There are the Stylus+, PDAPanache Trio and Cross stylus/pen combos among others. The best feeling pen and best stylus tips are made by Cross in my opinion, though the PDAPanache and Stylus+ high tech pens are cooler. I've tried them all but I keep going back to my Cross Solo Classic Digital Writer Duo (pen and stylus).
