I'll be receiving a Palm V shortly, and already own a Visor Deluxe. Will I have any problem setting the Palm V up on my computer?

You should not have any problems. Just connect the Palm V to a serial port. I would suggest that you use the Palm Desktop software that comes with the Visor (which you probably are using now) instead of installing the Palm Desktop that comes with Palm V. I don't know if the Palm software that comes with the Palm V supports USB yet.
