I received a reply concerning the problem with the VDx case. (breaks/cracks) The individual stated that the graphite color seems to hold up better. Are there any graphite users out there who can sheed some light on the issue. And if so, why would it be better than the other colors, aren't all the cases made from the same material? In case your wondering, I want to ensure I do all the research possible prior to my first pda purchase!

I have a Graphite and I've never broken or cracked the case. On the other hand, I've never broken any of the PDAs I've had since 1997.

Personally, I'd buy a third-party carrying case and use it all the time. My personal preference is the Rhodiana right now, which I only remove to replace the batteries and hotsync (not a problem) and to swap out the Springboard (bigger problem!).

If and when Rhodiana coems up with a design that permits extended Springboard modules, I'll probably switch to that.
