Angry

The more I read, the more it seems that Visor is losing the competition with the Flashable Rom, the wireless web option, fast emailing option (4 min to receive emails), blah blah blah.
I am thinking to get either the Clie or the TRG-Pro instead.
Or anyone can show me some pros of the Visor.

( "F" Springboard, I don't even use it )

Thumbs up

If your going to spend the money, I would go with a Clie'. I just caught a glimpse of one at Circuit City, and I have to say I was genuinely impressed.

Although I still don't believe it's worth $400.

400 dollars isway too much unless your buying a VIIx. In that case I would say go for it.
I too agree that the TRGpro is a great device, but no one has one so I would be wary about getting one. Visors and alot more popular than TGRpro's.

Agreed. The TRG Pro really isn't a consumer handheld. In fact, it's really positioned for the vertical market, much like Symbol products. Compact Flash is an industry standard media format, but the TRG Pro isn't the way to get it! Either stay with the Visor, or go with the Sony.

My best advice is to look at each handheld physically and see which one you like better. But basically the TRG is a Palm III with a Compact Flash slot. Not very impressive in my opinion.

Yep, the two machines I continue to recommend to most people are the Visor Deluxe and Palm IIIxe. Best bang for the buck.

Cost wise I compare the Visor Deluxe $250 plus another $80 for the 8mb module or $330 total to compare to the Sony which comes with 8mb plus another 8mb memory stick for $400. Sony also includes a travel recharger in the price. So to my way of thinking it's only priced something less than $70 more for equivalent MB. Anything Sony is always priced higher than the competition.
