What I've spent...

$200 Visor Deluxe
$100 Targus Stow-away keyboard
$250 Geode GPS module
$023 Matchbook Products Flush Adaptor (MD-100)
$042 64MB SanDisk CF card
$029 SanDisk ImageMate CF card reader/writer
$019 4 Nexcell 650 mAH NiMH batteries
$050 Maha MH-C204F NiMH battery charger
$030 Leather Visor wallet
$050 misc software (approx)

About $800, including the Visor. $600 otherwise. That doesn't include the $50 I spent on batteries before I got my NiMH's.

It's a lot, but I couldn't have done my last job without my Visor - too much stuff to remember. And I wouldn't be as much into hiking as I am now if it weren't for the GPS module. I consider it $800 and time well spent.

Do I want to know? here goes...

$150 Visor Neo Smoke *
$20 WriteRights
$35 InnoPak/2V module (now lost)
$20 4 NiMH rechargeables
$30 Targus HandCam (clearance) *
$10 8MB Backup Module (clearance)
$07 Pentopia pen-stylus (clearance)
$08 EMS belt case
$15 Targus touchpoint keyboard
$05 Serial Cradle
-----
$300 even, $120 of which I have paid (Visor and Cam were gifts).

I noticed I'm one of the few who have not purchased appliacations! The only thing I have is Documents to Go Standard, which came with the Visor in a rebate deal.

Regrets: A lot of this stuff is Visor-only, and I'm thinking of moving up to a Clie

GPS Companion $150
Gameface $40
Backup module $40
Serial Cradle $50
Custom cable to Cellphone $30
Various software ~$125

Total (gulp): $1578 (not including tax)

NOT including my Motorola Timport, I bought just because it hooks up to the Visor ($300 plus mo. fees). I feel ill kowing that I'm in the $2000 range w/cellphone. Thanks for asking for this info...

Haha... that's a riot. I spent five dollars on my GameFace. Canadian. And everyone knows how much a Canadian dollar is worth. Anyhow, the rest of my list goes as such, and it's all in Canadian.

0380 Visor Deluxe Ice.
0025 WriteRights.
0005 GameFace with Zap!2000.

Bringing my grand total to $415. Assuming that, when I bought all of my stuff, the CAD was worth about 65% of a USD, I spent $266.50 USD.

Heh, don't have prices, which would probably be too depressing to post anyway, but here are the gizmos I bought for my Visors (had total of four - one trashed Prism that I replaced):

Sprint PCS Digital Link (still use until I get the Treo 600)
Leather carrying case for Digital Link/Visor combo
EyeModule2 (will send to sister-in-law, who inherited my last Prism)
MiniJam (use it on trips and such)
Two MemPlugs (gave one to sis-in-law)
That Springboard thing that came with my MiniJam (never use it)
    Foldable keyboard from Targus
Large wallet that carries keyboard, Visor and extras

Visors:

Visor Deluxe (stolen out of checked-in bag during plane trip)
Visor Prism (lasted a long time and put up with massive amounts of punishment before dying ingloriously)
Visor Prism # 2 (refurbished unit from Fry's Electronics) -- gave it to sister-in-law in preparation for adopting Treo 600
Visor Neo (intended to be backup for Prism -- now primary and only device)

so long, visorcentral

Just wanted to post my last post in a thread that I started. I really valued this forum in it's heyday... But now there just isn't any relevant content anymore. Adios, so long, farewell!
