There are 3 types of resets: Hard, Warm, and Soft. A soft reset is when you put a paperclip in the hole on the back of your visor, it's like restarting your computer, nothing is lost. A warm reset is when you do a soft reset and hold the up button in. This won't let any programs start up, like hacks, but no data is lost, and you can manually start those programs back up. Finally, a hard reset is when you hold in the power button and preform a soft reset. Once you do this, your visor will ask if you really want to do this, since it clears ALL of the data in your visor, and restores it to the condition it was in when you first got it. Hope this helps!
