Speedloader and sorting songs

OK - I'm getting just a bit frustrated with my Speedloader software. When I select a list of songs to add to my MMC card - it automatically inverts their selection (song 10 first, then 9 and so on.) Can anyone give me a clue how to re-sort the songs once they are on the MMC ? Or better yet - how to sort them properly prior to commiting them to MMC? Any help would be appreciated.

I've never used the "actual" speedloader, but my ZiO MMC reader is compatible with the speedloader software (even looks like the SpeedLoader - I'd guess that one was a rebadged version of the other). I think that ZiO's are still available, but I don't know if it will work or not - seems like I recall only a certain firmware would work. Maybe you could track one of those down locally with a generous return policy?

Any clues on the sorting thing? It's a total pain in the butt to have to queue up one song at a time.

Hmm. Nope - I just tried it and the songs were added in reverse order. Can't say that I've ever tried it or paid attention before - my mp3's are horribly disorganized, so I usually add them one at a time anyway. I tend to install just one or two songs from any one CD or artist at a time. Sorry!

I don't have a speedloader, but I just noticed that when I drag a bunch of .mp3 files i've selected into MJLoader that the list sorts differently based on which end of the "selection" i grab when I am draging.
File names are in alpha order when I select them.
If I grab the first file of the selection when I am draging, they stay in that order.
If I grab the last file, the sort order reverses.

Create a playlist

The easiest answer i've seen to this is to create a playlist in winamp (or your other favorite media player) then through the speedloader interface, add the playlist, and it will add the songs in the order of the playlist.

Does speed loader work with other playlists - such as Windows Media player? I'll have to try that to find out I guess
