Magellan GPS Companion - Which Street Softs Are Best?

I recently received a Visor Prism and GPS Companion by Magellan. The software on the street mapping seems somewhat limited for what I would like to use it for. Specifically I am looking for something along the line of MapBlast, where you can enter starting and ending locations and the Visor will give you turn by turn directions HOWEVER, I would like the to be able to see my movements on the streets in real time via the Visor.

I'm hoping that some of you fellow Visor enthusiasts (sp?) might be able to point me in the direction of a more powerful tool for this. Or perhaps give me some tips on how to get this one to work more to my needs, since I don't know anyone who has either.
