Re: Magellan GPS Companion - Which Street Softs Are Best?

I recently received a Visor Prism and GPS Companion by Magellan. The software on the street mapping seems somewhat limited for what I would like to use it for. Specifically I am looking for something along the line of MapBlast, where you can enter starting and ending locations and the Visor will give you turn by turn directions HOWEVER, I would like the to be able to see my movements on the streets in real time via the Visor.
I'm hoping that some of you fellow Visor enthusiasts (sp?) might be able to point me in the direction of a more powerful tool for this. Or perhaps give me some tips on how to get this one to work more to my needs, since I don't know anyone who has either.
Thanks all! Glad to join the group.
This is not available at the present, the closest I can find is RouteUSA at www.tomtom.com . This generates city to city directions with no other points of interest. GPS Portable navigator has more detailed maps, but seperate the maps into counties, making for a very bulky program. Directions are not currently supported for Palm OS according to the website www.portableinternet.com . If you find another program in your searching, please let me know.
