Angry

Has anyone had the pleasure of getting a Diamond Mako/Psion Revo IR modem to work?
They advertise that they work with Palm handheld devices. They also do not seem to support
them on Palm devices, according to their tech support.

So I download the IR patches from Palm, as per the included guide for Handspring organizers on cd,
and the included EasySwitch software crashes my VDLX when the modem is on and in range.
I get an error stating, "SysEvtMgr.c, Line:1108
Pen q out of sync"

I have no hack running, and all of the set-up options are to the instructions, as far as I can tell.

Anyone have a clue?

Lightbulb Success!

I finally got the IR Travel modem working! I was trying to fix a problem with the grafitti disappearring, and noticed that the the problem started when I installed the Easyswitch driver. After uninstalling the Easyswitch, the grafitti came back without a hitch. I then re-installed the easyswitch, and sure enough, the grafitti problem came back.

I then tried downloading the easyswitch off of Psion's web site, previously not tried because it was the same revision. It worked like a charm. Now to get some killer apps.
