i keep hearing/reading about a 72mb visor prism. what gives?

Not knowing where you heard this, I can only assume they mean a 64MB CF/SM card plus the 8MB that comes on the Prism.

The AOL PocketPress weekly newsletter has a section called From the 72mb Visor written by someone who does use a CF card adapter.
