MP3 addon

Hi,
I heard that there is a way to play MP3s on the Visor.
What do I need to get to be able to do that?

Minijam

Hey,

You can use the Minijam springboard module which takes sd & another type of cards. They are on sale now so go grab one. I don't personally have one but they work with both pc's and mac. Depending on the bit rate you can fit plenty of songs on it you can have up to 256mb of memory on it. In addition to the music you can use it to store files and run them off the card. Do a search on this site for the minijam and see what others thought about it.

MiniJam? Simply fantastic.

Get one now. I've just had mine delivered (I've been waiting for the 256Mb version to become available) and I can't sing its praises high enough.

I emailed their customer services department directly, as I live in the UK and needed to make special arrangements for shipping, etc. The person I dealt with was extremely helpful and replied to my emails promptly. When I placed the order it took only 2 days to get to me in the UK from Florida, which I think is absolutely fantastic service (especially compared to the usual shoddy service we get in this country from our own UK-based retailers).

The product itself is brilliant - I was up and running within a couple of hours of opening the box, and the majority of that time was just taken transferring the MP3s themselves. It is simplicity itself to set up and use, and hasn't been out of my Springboard slot since!!

The only thing I would recommend (which I will be buying after my next pay day) is the SpeedLoader module - this makes transferring files onto the MMC cards heaps quicker, and has been recommended elsewhere by other MiniJam users.

In short, if you're in the market for an MP3 player I can't think of a reason not to buy one. BTW I have no connection with Innogear at all, I'm just a very, very satisfied customer.

I've used both Good and Innogear - considering both companies are "shifting focuses" I'd still recommend Innogear for the simple reason of expandability. I have a MiniJam with 256mb of music on it
