Recent article on palmstation that reference a report by Gaming Age ( http://cgi.gaming-age.com/gaming/ne...p;nid=23-130.db) that Sony as well as Microsoft are designing handheld gaming devices that will rival the game-boy.
The Sony gaming handheld will incorporate the Palm OS.
"In a research report from Nikko Salomon Smith Barney, they confirm that both Sony and Microsoft are working on handheld gaming devices."
"NSSB says that Sony is working on a handheld gaming device that will incorporate the Palm OS, which Sony also uses in its Clie PDA..."

This gaming PDA may be one of the Clie Models.

I work for an Audio-Video store, and we recently received training from Sony Factory Sales Reps. That is where I heard that there will be two color models.
Sony is apparently consolidating their different marketing groups into one location. The guy who was giving our training was not in the group that represents the Clie, but apparently the Clie people had recently moved into neighboring offices...
I will do more snooping and see if I can find more detailed information.
