Cool sounds like the thing to do

Daryl,,,Daryl is great, did so like that Newheart show. I'm naming my visor "Bambi" cause it brings me so much pleasure.

As a new Visor parent...

Is it a child or a pet? They all have names in my family, so why not the Visor?

I'm a new parent (Saturday), but will put some thought into this name...I like the Shakespeare angle, but I also lean toward Disney-esque...maybe a simple Mickey?

Visor names

Well, mine's from Handspring, and I use it at work, so I call it:

Handjob!

I'm gonna get slapped one of these days....

How about "The PDA formally known as Visor" or maybe "The expensive electronic device I didn't really need but got it anyway".

You see, I have this illness: my favorite color is Orange. So all of my electronics which need a name to operate get something having to do with orange. Thus my Visor is named Kumquat. It's small, it's orange, you get the idea.

Exclamation

Well, there certainly are some imaginative names on this thread, and I hadn't really thought about naming my Visor, though there are some good arguments advanced for doing so. After reading the posts, though, I just want to comment that it's one thing to tell us the name of your Visor, but if you've named your Palm - please, keep it to yourself!

Lightbulb I've settled on a name...

I know you've all been wondering...but after much thought I've settled on a name for my visor....

Blue.

Now, it's not quite as obvious as it looks (yes, it's a blue visor)...really. You see, I've got a young son and his favorite show is "Blue's Clues" and since this gadget gives me clues about my schedule, todo list, life in general...well, it was a rather nice fit.

Ok..you can go about your day now! And yes l'il beepy would be a great godfather :-)

Talking

I am a proud new "owner" of a visor. I am narrowing it down to ADvisor and Puny Puter. PP for short. By the way, as if any of you all needed to know this...Handspring was very FAST in sending my little unit....hey another name..anyway, I ordered on Tuesday night and had it Friday afternoon!!! When I read about how long they used to take and how they have improved, it tells me they do care about all of us parents, owners, namers....

Thanks for the vine......I am out.
