Question

on Sycom's website the PDF shows that stereo headphones will be available. what for? this module has own batteries and controls. but when out of the Visor it has a standalone docking gizmo that adds bulk. probably doesn't handle music.

The optional headphones are for the headphone jack in the unit for listening to your messages in private. Probably the standard phone jacks and can be used with any "walkman" type headphones. Same thing with the mic.

The stand-alone module they show looks like the battery pack. The upper right picture in the PDF file shows the unit plugged into the stand-alone module.

As for music, I believe this is only for voice recording, not MP3's, etc.
