I'd like to reverse the backlighting of my Visor Deluxe using the .8 shortcut. But, it seem to have no effect on the Visor at all.

Any ideas? Am I missing something?

There is another thread somewhere in this forum that addresses your question. The .8 shortcut does not seem to work on the Visor. A number of people have tried it, including myself, to no avail.

If you want to reverse the "reverse" backlight, you'll have to revert to a Hackmaster hack, and there are at least 3 that I know of out there. They should be relatively easy to find, but email me if you have problems.

I've noticed the same thing about .8 Although there are quite a few hacks to get the same effect.
After trying those I've got to admit that I prefer the Visor standard backlighting 'cos I find that the slightly blotchy inverted background on the Visor a little less pleasant than the standard backlight setting.
Try it and let us know what you think.
