Question Screen Protecter

Does anyone know where I might find a screen protector that fits on the Edge? I tried the Fellowes WriteRight for the Visor with no luck.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Mike

Have you tried Brando Screen Protector. You can reach them at http://www.brando.com.hk or http://shop.brando.com.hk. They are a little bit more expensive but it is worth every penny. I used them on my Handspring and I love them. It is very easy to put on. No bubbles what so ever. You can reapply them anytime and wash them if it ever gets dirty.

I ordered the Brando screen protector based on this thread. I received it today and I love it. I never used a screen protector on the entire screen before now (I previously covered the grafitti area only). Like it says above, there are no air bubbles. I even washed it already! I am very pleased.

brando

I just got my Brando and made a bit of a hash of putting it on. I have bubbles with bits stuck underneath. Can I just take it off, wash it under a tap and reapply?

Yes - you can run it under tap water (rub both sides with your fingers). Only dry off of the smooth side - otherwise you will get lint on the sticky side. I used compressed air to get the excess water off the other side. I left a little bit of water on the sticky side when I applied it to my Edge and it worked just great. If you have air bubbles, they will come right out if you just work them out to the side of the protector.

Arrow

For a more "conventional" and domestically available screen protector -- the disposable--works for a coupl'a months type is available from "COMPANION LINK". It works and fits great. SImply get the model specifically for the Edge.

I found something called the "PDA Bodyguard Screenshield" for the Edge at Micro Center... which is odd, because Micro Center doesn't carry Visor products. The price was reasonable; $12.99 for a pack of 10. It's a typical peel-and-stick screen protector. It fits the Edge well, and I like the texture (very slightly tacky) and the almost perfect clarity.

The packaging doesn't inspire confidence. The protectors come in a small blister pack that describes itself as compatible with the "Handsring" Visor Edge... and the peel-off paper backing for the screen protectors has some awkwardly translated English ("Features: Made by special material / Waterproof / Thin and fine").

Nonetheless, it works for me. More info and on-line ordering at their web site.
