Anyone use a Prism and a SoundsGood or Mini-Jam? I toy with upgrading, but I'm leery of that rechargeable, especially since I use my SoundsGood quite a bit. I know what it does to my AAAs, and I'm concerned that I won't get many tunes out of a charge.

Any feedback would be welcome.

I don't think it's a huge problem. I have a SoundsGood and a Prism, and I haven't noticed to drain the batteries too badly. However, I have to confess I usually use the SG with the energy clip, not in the Prism, so my experience with the battery issue is pretty limited.

I have a Prism and a SoundsGood Audioplayer and have foud that it's not the module that is the biggest drain. Its the screen.

If you are going to use the SoundsGood and the screen at the same time (as I do reading Avantgo on the train while listening to my fav tunes.) make sure to set screen at about 25% to 35% brightness. That will save you a good deal of power. With screen off it really lasts a lot longer.

I use mine everyday and love the AudioPlayer.

Smile my experience

Prism and minijam. What you need to remember is that you recharge the battery every day. You could probably get 5 hours heavy use a day. Isn't that enough? It sure is nice not having to buy AAAs anymore.

The Prism and Soundsgood together don't consume much...
I used my SoundsGood for about 45 minutes each day with the volume at 1/4 max and the battery drops from 100% t0 96% only...

SB's really don't hurt my Prism much. Where I don't have a voice player, I have the targus voice recorder, and that works fine. The eye2 I never notice a difference. MY Prism always tays at 92% ! I love the Prism..
