Neo dram or sdram 32mb upgrade

MR TONY says not all NEO or PRO can be 32mb. Is there a way to know if it is the SDRAM model before I leave the store with it? SDRAM units can be 32mb upgraded. DRAM units only 16mb.
I already have a PLT but for 169 and then 119 to upgrade thats less than what I spent for the PLT.

There is a test utility written by us

and I can e-mail it to you. It would tell you the exact type of memory chip.
You'll have to take a second PDA with you and just beam/run this application in the store.
All Pro's can be upgraded to 32 Mb. This limitation only applies to early production Neo's.
BTW all 32 Mb upgrade prices were recently reduced.

Tony,

Two things: 1) your link in your sig is misspelled (ugprade instead of upgrade) 2) any hint as to what the Handera upgrade might be, i.e. RAM, ROM, both?

16 Mb RAM and 4 Mb flash ROM.
