Kinda interesting that the person who started the thread about the X-Mas Contest is also the winner of the grand prize. I will remember that next time there is a contest Start thread. Check.

Then again, toby, didn't you win a GPS module

Then again, I won graph module.

Yep, kinda weird considering that I'm on the verge of ditching my Visor. At least I'll get some use out of it before it goes on the block (if rumors are correct, it'll be 2-3 months before a color Handera is available). OTOH, I couldn't get to Nexian's site at all this weekend to see the capabilities of the thing, so maybe they're about to go under.

Nexian is working for me this morning. There was some glitch over the past couple of days where you needed to use https: instead of http:, but that seems to be fixed.

...my wife's first impression is that I made the page up myself and was trying to trick her...

The best part is now I have a justification for being a VC junkie!

This is by far the coolest thing I've ever won. I can't wait!

Just kidding... congratulations!

Has anyone received email notification of their prize(s)? Oh, and congrats to Dietrichbohn.... ya know, I couldn't use the treo in Idaho anyway.

Not yet. IIRC, the rules said they'd contact everyone within 30 days.

i must have misread the official rules. I thought it said that VC would notify winnters within five days.

Hopefully a CMDA treo does come out soon... then maybe my hubby and I will upgrade!

Toby was right, it's 30 days
quote:
VisorCentral.com will notify prize winners by email within 30 days of the selection date. Winners must respond to notification within one week of the notification, or such prize shall be forfeited.

And marcus posted this earlier in this thread:

We have fallen a little behind here during the holidays... The winners will receive their notifications shortly.

Thanks,

Marcus

I would think it would be a good idea to contact Marcus. Is there maybe something wrong with the email address in your profile (accidentally misspelled or something)?

So... if these people logged in, won, and vanished... will you re-draw for their prizes?

If so, where can I go to put my name in early?
