I was wondering what kind of rechargeables any of the users here go for on their Visor--after chewing through regulars alkaline ones kind of quickly (compared to a palm) I went the recharge route (Rayovac Renewal Alkalines) and have yet to test them extensively, but the price for 4 (6.99) was too good for me to pass up even if I ended up with only several charges off of them. Rayovac claims 25+ charges off them.

As a side note they are rated @1.5 volts.

I wouldn't use Renewal. They have a nasty habit of leaking. I had a camera ruined by this. You're better off going with NiMH batteries. They can be recharged a lot more often than Renewals and don't cost that much more. They only last between 9 and 12 hours of on time use in the Visor, so buy a second pair and have them charged and ready for replacement use.
