I can't get the beam receive shortcut ([shortcut].i) to work on a new visor. I've done it on others, so I know I'm doing it right. I can get other shortcuts to work. I tried disabling all hacks, but still no go. Does anybody know what could be causing it?

TIA

Yes. I can get the shortcut to work perfectly well on my original visor. I just can't get it to work on the one I just bought for my wife. I know the IR port is working well as I 've beamed data between the two.

Question

Hi.
I may be mistaken, but it seems that some shortcuts do not seem to work on all Visors...?
A couple of weeks ago, someone pointed out that he used the shortcut to invert the backlight on his Visor and that it worked great. I tried and tried, but did not get it to work on my Visor (although I always got the message "[Inverted Backlight]" or "[Normal Backlight]" or something like this.
Anybody else having problems with the shortcuts???

Are you running Afterburner or something similar? There have been reports that the overclocking utilities can affect beaming.
