This is question to PiDeveloper and maybe someone else who have plans to develop for MemPlug.

Because there are no generic API for external memory (even CF, MemoryStick and SmartMedia) probably better solution (without upgrade PalmOS) can be database mapper. Actually CLIE already have this kind of software (i.e. MSmount). This app has small db in Palm memory and real db placed into MemoryStick and all operations on db in memory intercepted by that app and really mammed to db placed in MemoryStick.

It will be great to have something similar for MemPlug. Than we don't need to modify old software and even don't need to develop anything else specific for MemPlug.
