Since Handspring's web said to call and we can check on your order and we will not be emailing confirmations...I did:
49 minutes listening to Muzak - Shawna answeres and is very polite but states can't access info. She suggests a supervisor and I agree 5 minutes later the proverbial accidental hang-up. You could tell it was accidental due to the phone being picked up and an attempt to re-hold with a click.

Immediately called back and after 33:05 minutes spoke with Laptkey [sic](sorry she was of India, Pakistan or similar ethnic background the accent wasn't too bad) calmly told here my concern etc. Within another 5 minutes she was back and had very specific information regarding when I placed the order at 9:25 PDT on 9/14 and my phone number.

The bottom line: I'd say that all of us who placed orders prior to the web page capability can rest assurred that they have the order. If you want to wait on hold like myself and have tremendous patience (I'm on vacation doing honey do's) then by all means call. Otherwise, we'll get our Visor before the end of October as promised. Only broken promise so far is email notification.
