I am an avid follower of the VC boards and am usually here at least once a day. The community is more active here than anywhere I've seen. I know that the site needs to be supported by advertising, or we would end up paying. For the most part, the ads are fine (in fact, I have even "clicked through" one of them and ended up buying something) Am I the only one offended by the content of some of them, though? I don't like clicking on a link to a thread and having as the first thing downloaded a picture of some scantily clad woman. I could be wrong, but I don't think these kinds of ads are really hitting their target audience here. Please tell me I'm right.

Anyway, what do you think?

Marcus

Thanks for the pointer. I guess I didn't look hard enough for a similar topic before I made one up. The ad with the silver thong thing that was mentioned was for a gaming web site. I wish I could remember more but I was trying to avoid paying too much attention to it. I'm glad you guys are on it. You are doing a great job!

Exclamation

I found the company, it was something called "Game Cave".

Their ad is now blocked.

Please report any questionable ad banners to me in the future as well.

Thanks

Marcus
