Red face

Well, now I customized HotSync to only sync DateBook, Address, To Do and Memo, and games are still being reinstalled, and after "cleaning up", the Visor tells me to tap an on-screen button to reset, which brings about a stuck splash screen. Dang it.

If this isn't correctable, will I have to send back mine and wait, or will HS send another and have me ship back this one? Would I pay shipping?
This site is a great resource. I appreciate the suggestions and help I've received.

Thumbs up

jesus.
sounds like the Visor doesn't like one of the games. do a hard reset, go into c:\program files\palm\<user name>, and cut-'n'-paste the Backup folder somewhere else. install only one application, hotsync, and see what happens.

if it works, try a few more.

Talking

I've seen this a few times, just today when putting some new hacks in. I also get a flashing pixel in the top left corner of the Palm logo (splash) screen when this happens. A paper clip in the reset hole took care of the hang and it reset ok then.

Question

Yeap, if i push the Up and the Buttom button together and do the reset, a dot flash in the upper left conner of the screen, may i know what does that mean ? (But my BVD does not start in that way, i still got to do a Hard reset).
