I've read many reviews and opinions of various cases for the Visor and will probably sometimes soon get a Vaja case and a RhinoPak 2000 to carry the Visor & Stowaway.

I found another option, though. Before I got the Visor, I was looking for a way to carry a bunch of stuff while shopping, going to meetings, etc.--cel phone, checkbook, pens & pencils, notepad, address book, datebook/calendar, small multitool (e.g., Leatherman Micra), business cards, discount/membership cards, and other miscellaneous small stuff--something like a guy-type purse. I had all that and more in a ballistic nylon briefcase, but that's too much to carry around. It didn't have to replace a wallet, though that would be an option.

I looked at many bags and settled on the Departure Pouch II by Eagle Creek. The Departure Pouch is made of Cordura Plus nylon, so it's water-resistant. It has one zippered and three open pockets plus a pen/pencil pocket in the main body; a zippered pocket on the back, next to the belt loop; and two zippered pockets on the flap--one on the outside and one made of netting on the inside of the flap. The flap closes with a plastic quick-release buckle like many backpacks use. It's adjustable and very secure. You can wear the Departure Pouch on your belt--a belt loop almost the entire width of the pouch will accommodate belts up to 2.5+" wide, or over your neck/shoulder--the neck/shoulder hanger (5/16" wide flat braided nylon) easily stuffs into the largest/back pocket.

I found that the Departure Pouch will hold the Visor Deluxe, even in the leather slipcase that the Visor came with. (I don't need the address book or datebook/calendar, obviously, but I still carry a notepad--it's hard to leave someone a note with the Visor...). It may hold the Visor in the Vaja case, as its dimensions seem to be about the same as the original slipcase. It would probably hold the Rhinoskin Shocksuit or Rhodiana case, and might hold the Incipio case, but that's about the maximum width. A lot would depend upon what else one put into the pouch.

I'd be glad to take photos and send them by email to anyone interested. I bought the pouch at REI, which has a store here in Eugene, OR. It's also available online from Eagle Creek and LeTravel Store. Eagle Creek has a wide selection of luggage, backpacks, bags, pouches, etc.
