Memory Stick Freezing!

Almost everytime i try to move something to the memory stick it will stop towards the end of the transfer and will do a "BEEP BEEP BEEP, BEEP,BEEP,BEEP". Then i have to soft reset, but when i come back, it actually did transfer the file. Does anyone know why?
