Question Wireless Service

Hi all,

I need your suggestions here! My contract with YadaYada will expire on Nov.6.2001 and I'd like to know what my options are if I discontinue using YadaYada and keep my Minstrel S.

Have any of you successfully sign up with either AT&T or Verizon to use with the Minstrel S? If so, please tell me what to do.

I have been happy with YadaYada (except a few problems that Eric Nix had to reset my IP address) and not willing TOO much for too LITTLE service.

Thanks in advance,

All Verizon wants from you is the MAC address of your Minstrel S, some of your hard-earned money and your signature on a contract. For something like $40-$50/month you get unlimited access.

I too have been happy with YY. However, I'm hearing all this stuff about 3G and high speed networks. It's probably not going to happen in the next year or two. I will probably renew with YY for 6 months or so. $40/month is bearable, but I don't like the spotty coverage. It works great here in Houston, and it was great when I traveled to Los Angeles. Bummer that I couldn't get it in Atlanta, New Orleans, and other cities I've traveled to.

I would like to switch to a carrier that has better coverage. We'll see what our options are in the next few months.
