Avantgo has a neat page that will let you input your pda, your type of wireless phone, your provider, and your zip code and it will show you options for connecting the two to get a wireless connection. I guess they are really trying to push their wireless service. Too bad my setup (Visor Deluxe, Qualcomm QCP-860, Verizon Wireless (GTE) did not have any options available.

Verizon setup
I have almost the same set up Visor Prism, QCP-860 phone and Verizon and am able to use the Avantago
wireless service. I use the data connection kit from Kyocera for the phone and a serial cable from MarkSpace to connect my Prism to the data cable from Kyocera. You can then use Verizon's QNC service for net access.
Regards,
DPH

Thanks
Weird that Avantgo does not know about it. Thanks for the info. I will check out the markspace and kyocera sites.

Its because AvantGo only sells one cable solutions. It appears to me that AvantGo actually sells "re-branded" SupplyNet Cables (http://www.thesupplynet.com), and they will be comming out with an 860 cable soon. I wish I would have known about AvantGo before I ordered from SupplyNet, I could have saved $2 in shipping

Pricing for cables/service
Halldp-
I was wondering what the entire setup (Kyocera cable + Markspace cable + Monthly fee?) cost you? I know I could search for the answer but I thought maybe you could save me the time.
