Ok i have a VDX butt i have had it replaced once and it looks like i might replace it again! This time i just might upgrade it to the Edge? I dont know if i should just stay with the VDX which is always breaking or screwing up!
I was just wondering if any one could give me some first hand knoledge on this matter.
i dont use the springboard slot very much: just to back up.
I do like the fact the edge is faster: is it noticable?
i love the small size: i would probably lose the styli
and how long does the battery really last?: i like the fact i dont have to recharge i just run to 7-11 and pic up some AAA's

Mmm... there seems to still be a number of troubled edges out there. Most with the menu screw up bit.

The reliable choice would be a platinum. BUT, there's a $50.00 price difference.

I sugguest you go to your local electronics store, and work with each. If you're drooling over the Edge, then you may as well get it.

Now, if you take your Visor with you on Road trips, I'd save my $50.00 and get a Platinum.

i bought my VDX at best buy so when it take it back and get a new one they said the woud be cool if i would upgrade to a platinum for $30. butt if i upgrade i wanna go all out? i really dont care about color, thats just a luxury! and i played with the edge and clie at compusa. i hate the clie the buttons are hard to use. i like the edge butt i was just wondering.
i wont go up to a platinum i would just use that $30 to go out clubbin when i get over my cold.

You may like not having to recharge now, but wait until you don't have to run to 7-11 to pick up batteries. I can't tell you how long the battery lasts with any degree of reliability. I haven't been able to get it below 80% since I got it. It's in the crade a max of 30 min./day.

The speed jump is noticeable.

You'd have to be mentally deficient to lose the stylus (that may be a bit harsh, but it locks onto the device quite securely).

Now's a good time to upgrade to an edge, considering the rebate.
