Question

I got my visor deluxe set up with the "turn off and Lock" feature running. I can't for the life of me get that to stop. I tried to "unasign" the password but then when I go to shut down I get a message stating "you must assign a password to turn off and lock your visor". Please tell me there is a way to get this off without hard reset...and also if I MUST hard reset, how do I save all of my info and apps etc... Thanks

Read the Security section of the online User Guide starting at page 44. It explains the "turn off and lock" feature.

Sounds to me like to might have enabled it WITHOUT a password? Maybe a hard reset is what you need to do. Check the manual.

Exclamation

Or, if you don't have any protected records, you can simply do a "forgot password" which will then erase protected records. Then you can assign a new password and then you'll be able to disable the "off & lock" feature. Just a thought.
