upgrading from Deluxe to Prism

Can someone tell me that if I get a Prism,would it be a simple matter to transfer the data from my Deluxe.Could I use the 8 meg backup module I have and simply restore eveything into the Prism and begin using the new cradle which charges the battery?Would I need to use different desktop software?

I had no problems upgrading to a Prism. Use the desktop software that came with the Prism or download the latest from Handspring, and just Hotsync. You can even use the Prism cradle with the Deluxe.

You might have OS3.1 updates on the backup module that would make the Prism very unhappy, so be careful if you want to go that route.
