Interesting article comparing the USB vs. Serial Syncing speeds with a Visor Deluxe.

That's one point for Handspring!

Wink Speed Confirmed

I've read several postings claiming that the serial cradle and USB cradle are imperceptably different. As with so many performance factors, all is relative.

If you are only syncing a couple of emails and a new contact or two, then you will hardly notice the difference on sync speed. But... if you have thousands of contacts, hundred of emails, and a full compliment of Avantgo pages using the USB over the Serial cradle can mean the difference between a three minute sync and a 15 minute one.

I have a serial cradle at work, and a USB cradle at home and can attest to the speed difference.

Discussions of battery life annoy me too. How many weeks should your batteries last? Depends on how much you use your Visor! If you check it twice a day the things will last three weeks. If you play with it incessantly (as I do) then you are lucky to get a week!
