Well, I had some discussion with Qualcomm a while ago, and they said it was perhaps possible, but I didn't pursue it. This may help........ (correspondence below)

Subject: Palm Connector for Visor?
Hello. I am seriously considering upgrading to the QCP 860 (flat phone) from my trusty 800.
I noticed there is a Palm Connectivity Kit for the Palm III.
I have a palm-OS Handspring Visor. Is there a way to connect my QCP-820 (or another) to a Visor?
Thanks in advance

Dear Mr. Williams,
There is a Handspring Visor cradle that has a serial port on it. The QUALCOMM Data Connectivity Kit can connect to the serial port on the cradle while your Visor is resting in the cradle. Because the Handspring Visor is a relatively new product, we have not had an opportunity to test the functionality of what I have described above. The connectivity is
definitely present, however, we are uncertain of the functionality.

Thanks, what is the difference between the Palm Connectivity Kit (TXDTA03G1) for $100 and the Data Connectivity Kit (TXDTA036-1) for $80?

good luck
EDITED: but see this good response by zzap: probably won't work. Oh Well.
