Problem - Power on when in case with alarm

I keep my Visor pro in a Sumdex case. When my alarm goes off, the system turns on and the case is pressing on the up/down buttons, making the clicking noise incessantly. I'm not concerned about the noise but about having the Visor powered on indefinitely when I might not be around.

I've looked all over for a program or Hack that might remedy this but can't find one. What workarounds are there?

Maybe give easylock a try.

Even better, while I was looking at EasyLock, I came across PalmVHack, which precisely addresses my problem with the up/down buttons being pushed in the case when the alarm sounds.
