I put all my DOC files in the flash memory, and use CSpotRun to read them. It keeps a database in the internal memory of all the current locations of the DOC files, but it doesn't support multiple bookmarks per file. It looks like ISilo does the same, and it also supports bookmarks for DOC files in flash memory.

Also, for some unknown reason I had a hard reset the other day, so I had to reload any apps that weren't in the flash memory, and even though I restored from my last hotsync, I had problems with several things, like Hackmaster, which didn't properly restart until I deleted the app and reinstalled it. Most hackmaster hacks can reside in flash memory, though.

Cool

I think that Handspring should put the info that the Backup Module CAN store 8MB of backed up data on their site. Now that I know that,I will seriously consider getting one, since I go on trips and my laptop is either too bulky or in the shop

P.S. why is the backup module so much cheaper than the 8MB flash?

I think the backup module is cheaper than the 8MB flash module because it has a simpler job to do (i.e. other apps don't/can't access it) and because of that, it has a more limited use -- as in, backups only.

Just my $0.02
