Talking Plat/Sanyo/SupplyNet/SprintPCS - Simple Success!

This was way too easy!

Upgraded to a Platinum last weekend. Did some research on cellphones and service, to replace my AT&T. Hooked up with Amazon deal and SprintPCS. Sanyo 4500 cell phone. Amazon gives $50 off over a $100 and there's a $100 rebate on the phone, so it was free, and free shipping and NO tax. SprintPCS service with the wireless web connection (comes with my package, but only $5/month otherwise). Ordered a cable from SupplyNet.

As if like manna from heaven, both the phone and cable showed up today. Called Sprint and activated my cellphone by phone. Added simple settings on my Visor, which were supplied by SupplyNet - both for Sprint's QNC (or whatever it's called) and for dial-up to my ISP (VerizonDSL).

Plugged it all together and VOILA! Both worked like a charm on the first click on the "connect" button. Browsed on both (forgot to transfer my e-mail from my modem/yada yada springboards, so haven't tried it yet). And no, I don't have the wireless connection kit from Sprint or their software (but I probably will add it later to use with my laptop).

Thanks SupplyNet for the quick shipping and the wonderful setup instructions.
