Question

does any one know if it is possible to use the StowAway and the Thinmodem at the same time, for AIMing, AOLing, or web surfing. I was able to do this with my GoType and my VDX but i recently upgraded to the VPR and i am looking for a keyboard A.S.A.P. WOW i wonder if i could use anymore acronyms. thanks for the help

Yes, the Stowaway works fine with the Thinmodem and the Visor Prism.

I have all three and use them all the time for ICQ etc on the go.

No you read right. I use ICQ on the Visor all the time.

Not many people know this, but ICQ actually produces a version for the PalmOS.

It works great - just like the real ICQ, you can actually leave it connected and be doing other things (like web surfing using AvantGo) and it will notify you when a message arrives.

It works fine, but there is a bug which the guys at ICQ.com have not fixed yet.

You see, like the desktop version of ICQ, ICQ for PalmOS keeps a history list. The bug is that when the history list is full, ICQ will crash and cause a "Fatal Exception".

I managed to get around this problem by going into Options->History and emptying the history list every few minutes.

You can get it from the front page of ICQ or at this link: http://www.icq.com/download/palmpilot/
