Angry UPDATED!!! Please help!!

I'm getting this weird message:

../src/launcherMain.c,Line:5044, Could not complete the operation because system is out of dynamic memory.

all hacks off
over 800k available

Any ideas?

Addendum:
Okay...I backed up my Prism to see if a hard reset would help. Well...lo and behold, I can access the file menu so long as the 8 Meg RAM module is not inside.

Now what??? There are 928 kb free on the module and 1 MB free on the Prism.

HELP!

Try PopClock hack, the latest version shows free heap as well and regular memory stats. His readme has an explanation about heap; it's kind of a scratchpad place "separate" from your regular RAM as far as space goes. Shouldn't be a problem, but you can look. There might be other apps, hacks that show the heap stats, you could do a search for "heap" on some of the s/w sites.

Okay...this only happens with the 8 MB RAM module in place. I don't know what's going on. I thought it was a specific program (PassANote...a note pad). Everything was running smoothly until I decided to add a few other things back on. Now I have no idea what the common thread is.

The Handspring people basically just told me to take everything off and reinstall each program one at a time to see what the conflict was. DUH!

They didn't clarify what the message means. That might help me figure out what the conflict is.

No one has had this happen????? C'mon guys!!!
