Here's my problem: I'm getting a new VDX to replace my IPAQ (don't ask). I sync to Outlook now but want to go back to Palm Desktop. Can I do my first sync to Outlook to get my data loaded on the VDX, then switch to Palm Desktop to sync back to the PC and stay with Palm Desktop forever after?

Is there a simple way to do this and has anyone done it successfully. Tips are appreciated.

There is a beautiful product called TrueSync.

www.truesync.com

It allows seemless PIM syncing between lots of clients. I have my Visor syncing with my myYahoo Account, Outlook 2000, AND Palm Desktop(just for good measure). You can get it working with excite, lotus notes, etc..
