I've followed the thread, and noticed that serious netweenies who have to fix a network are more interested in the hard wire type, and the folks who just want to be able to use a network seem to be the w/o wires type.
Not be snotty, or come across as such, but does this seem fair? If the market for w/o wires is for USERS rather than ADMINS then Xircom has a point. For every Admin type person who has a visor, how many user types are there? Hmm?
Personally, I would love to have a wired network connection from my visor, and I t/s a 700 node network. I wouldn't mind the wireless ethernet, but its of far less use - range, etc. Also, a wireless adapter is going to demand more power, etc. If we can't convince Xircom that there is demand, then we'll simply have to home-grow a solution. Anybody thinking that this seems to remind them of Innogear?
