Hi all -
I posted a thread a while back and this was part of my question but i wanted to see if others have this problem.
I've noticed that after I hot sync that when and hit the home icon it does a 'please wait' for 2 seconds or so. This also happens when I remove the Backup module... also when first going to Datebook+ after a sync it says 'scanning' for a few second. after it does it once it's all set.. But I dont ever remember my DLX doing this.. do all platinums do this? is this a OS 3.5 thing?
I do have Hackmaster with Clockpop, McPhling, Crash, and afterburner 3.0z although I don't have anything overclocked (except find) - just the wait state stuff / fast mpx.
Yep, I get the same thing. Avantgo also makes me wait, but I'm thinking that's the new version not the Platinum since I upgraded Avantgo since I got the Platinum, and Avantgo was speedy before I upgraded. (I think that made sense.)
I'm guessing it's a Platinum thing. My old DLX didn't do it. Doesn't bother me, and I mostly just ignore it.

Doesn't happen to me (except under very specific circumstances with a logical explaination -- when I "confuse" my Plat)-- I would suspect a software interference.
I do get a wait with Avantgo -- but onlky when I have synced with a different computer or backed up/restored to a different HS unit---
I then get double entried in the Avantgo section untill I acess same -- then Avantgo deletes the duplicates -- I assume that is the wait period. On the Home and Datebook situations I would suspect another duplication situation.
Does your used mem level change?
Are you using a diferent launcher?
I would guess a software conflict and duplication somewhere --
