Board slowing?

Is it just me, or does the discussion board seem like it is running slower these days? Perhaps 11,000 members and 135,000 posts is taxing for even vBulletin!

I've noticed a little slowdown, but attributed it to Windows. Even the various connection utilities across the web measure a lower connection speed than my mac got.

I also assumed that the slowdown was on my end, but now that you've mentioned it, I'm starting to get annoyed with the tiny lag...

...... Cable Internet has spoiled me.

If you use IE/Mac, you would have noticed a slowdown in page-rendering after they redesigned the site (due to the nested tables).

I'm sure noticing the slowdown on IE/Win98--and it's more recent than the board redesign...

Same here... for about the past 2 weeks or so. I thought it was on my end, but it does appear that the forum has slowed considerably.

Oh, marcus... are you listening???

Same for me. Very slow on NT, slightly slower on Win98.

I had a slowdown yesterday, but I was also had Salon open in another window, and they're always slow-as-death for me, so I attributed it to that. But today it does seem sluggish.
