It sounds kinda neat, and just what I need... I'm itching to get another Springboard module (just got an EyeModule2) and I thought this sounded good. (Except I'd like it even better with MORE RAM!!!)
I've had, no lie, my Visor alarm go off at work, and not heard it. The people around me heard it ("What's that beeping? Is that you?"), so a vibrating alert sounded like a good idea, since I wear my Prism on a belt clip.
But I'd like to hear from someone BEFORE I shell out $50...
Thanks.

Is it even out yet? I was just looking at more info that makes me wonder if it's not yet on the market (You know, like all those other neat springboard modules...)
Ah crud. Thanks for the links. I tried searching for memory access, memory access springboard, "memory access springboard module" (or something like that... I tried a couple searches.
It never occurred to me to try 'memory AND access.'

hold on captain!!!
I too thought the mem access would be a good idea, until I tried to use the alarms on my prism. This is where the trouble started. I set a vibrating alarm to test things out and got on my way to work. The alarm should have gone off during my commute, but I realized it never went off. I looked at my screen and saw the dreaded fatal exception prompt and every time I reset it, the same error kept coming up. I spoke to a rep on the phone who said they had found an issue with the prism & platinum visors. The only thing I am able to use is the flash memory with the file mover app. The rep said that they are working on a fix, but gave no date for availability. The only reason I didn't send the module back was to keep using the 2mb of flash. As much as I hate to admit it, it looks like the short term solution may be the innopak 2v. I haven't heard about it not working with the newer models. I haven't been to the GA website in a while, but the last time I went there was no mention of this issue. They also did not have a working link to register the product. It looks like GA needs to get its act together!!!

Yeah, I noticed they seem to.. .well, let's just say they don't make it easy to order their product, or it's back ordered, or whatever.
(Of course, this reflects MY OWN experience ONLY, and is not a law of the universe)
Guess it's the innogear. Oh well, a flashing LED would've been nice, but...
