Question

Hello, all.

Just upgraded from a Palm III-something to a Visor Deluxe. Wow, I love it! You can almost tell by looking..."yeah, this was made by the original guys alright." Very nice package indeed.

I am using the leather slipper case included with the VDX, the one with the elastic sides. It is rather tight, but the elastic and the break-in period of the leather would seem to reduce that. So what's this I hear about cases cracking due to the stress? Or am I just way off, and it's something else that causing the cracks, or entirely something else that's cracking?

Thanks for the tips!

I've never heard of the slipper causing the visor case to crack. you might be thinking of the visor plastic cover that comes with it. I've heard of the catch on the top of the visor cracking over time. But I still think this is a pretty rare occurence. However I would suggest getting a new case entirely. That plastic cover and slipper combo is a pain in the butt. It's really hard to deal with one handed. I bought a Targus beltclip case which I really like, but I know there are also some other really nice case out there. But I don't think you have to worry about the elastic slipper cracking the case.
