Angry Fatal Alerts when using Springboard

I have two Springboard modules, a Minijam and a Backup module. I have been getting quite a few fatal errors while using the Minijam. And recently with the Backup module. I just have to reset the unit and that usually fixes it.

Has anyone else encountered this?

thanks,

RG

I'm not sure, but it sounds like it's Innogear's fault.

What hacks do you have installed? Do you get the errors when you put them in or take them out?

I had the same problem. I had a brand new Edge. It worked fine for a couple of hours and then anytime I would insert a SB mod. the unit would Fatal Error. Almost every time I would insert the SB it would die on me. I called HS and they replaced it, no questions asked.

I still have a problem every once in a while with the replacement one. It seems to only happen with the Thinmodem+ module but I think that's related to the module. I returned the mod because I was having a problem with the dongle connector not working all the time.

I tried just rolling with the errors since my last post. I bought a Xircom 56 modem for it about 10 days ago and started getting the errors again. So I took the plunge and called Handspring. They replaced the unit and I have not had any more problems so far.
