Question

I finally got the built-in mail app to work with Netscape Messenger, but I have a few concerns. First of all, I don't like the fact that if you delete mail on the handheld, it's deleted on the desktop client as well. It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't COMPLETELY deleted - i.e. I wouldn't mind if it went into the trash folder, but as it is, I can't save anything that I delete by accident. I'm told that if I "purge deleted" on the handheld before syncing, it will fix this problem. I am going to try that right after this message. In the meantime, I have another question. In Messenger, I file many of my messages away for archiving in different folders in the client. For instance, I have a "business" folder and a "friends and family" folder, as well as a place to put my "word of the day" emails, (yeah, I'm a geek. But I'm a geek with a Visor. :-) Anyway, I was wondering if there were any third-party mail apps for the Visor that would let me keep this file structure. I'd like to be able to file the messages on my visor, and have it synchronize them with the desktop when I hotsync. Is this possible? Thanks for any help you can offer!!

if you open the HotSync manager, go to 'custom' you can set the mail conduit to 'Desktop overwrites handhels' that way you can prevent the mail on your desktop from being deleated
