OK Gang, I have had my Platinum for about 23 days (ok exactly 23 days) and am thinking of swapping at Best buy for the Prism?

Asuming I have the backup module all set to go, I should be able to just restore to the Prism and everything should be swell, correct? All other modules should function as previous?

Thanks alot.

P.S. anyone make the swap already and regret it? think it was a good decision? Bad Decision? Main reasons for doing so... Eyemodule 2, games, and Basically color in general.

I went from a Platinum to a Prism and have never looked back. Having a color display is a must when you consider the modules that are coming out. I had purchased the Minstrel S and was using it with my Platinum, but when I tried it out with the Prism WOW what a difference.
Almost all the modules out should work with the Prism. There may be some software you need to upgrade to support the color but that's it. The backup module I had with my Platinum worked just fine in my Prism. So if you plan on using your Visor for web browsing, GPS, eyemodule etc.... then the Prism is the way to go.
However, I must warn you that the display on the Prism is not so good with outside light. In order to properly view the screen you have to increase the brightness. So if you do a great deal of field work it may not be to Visor for you. Hope this helped.
