Talking

Thank God I ran out of money and couldn't order that slipper case. This is the one I really wanted. I went to the web site and looked at the photos. It looks like the snap closure clip case has an opening that could be used with a sync cable. Did anybody else notice this? Hey James, is this on your list???

Yeah right!

--> This <-- is how you present a case.

I don't feel the need anymore to HotSync my Visor while it's in a case, so the price is right for the one I have my eye on. I want the case in the middle with the ABS. Does it come with airbags too? Heh heh. No kidding... That is one sexy case. I must have it! It will be mine!

Oh, I thought about not really *needing* to be able HotSync with the Visor still in the case, but...

...don't forget, the Prism also charges while it's in the cradle.
(And my Prism spends more time in its cradle than any of my previous PDAs did.)

Needless to say, I sprung for the high-dollar, sync-thru case.

Pictures indicate the snap cover has a hole for hotsynch...but features don't list it. I really want a case with a hole for hotsynch for not only charging but for using the Stowaway keyboard with it. On the other hand, if I spend this much money I want it to also replace my wallet, which includes a debit card...

Question Hmm...credit card can't get close to a magnet?

I guess that makes since, I mean the magnet could mess-up the magnetic strip on the back of a credit card. I have one of those magnetic money clips that my girlfriend gave me, and I have been carrying my credit card in the thing for about 6 months now... the card still works fine. Maybe I should stop.

Just ordered one!

I think the main problem with the credit cards is the magnetic closure (Wouldn't do to erase the magnetic strip on the credit card, wouldn't it? )

On the other hand, I just ordered one (A man should indulge himself on his birthday). I have been waiting a long time for this case with . I really don't like the velcro closure E&B uses. I had their Slipper with my Palm IIIx, and while it was a great case, I intensely disliked the Velcro.

Smile yeah...I hate velcro also.

I agree, I hate velcro, the noise that it makes and mostly they get fuzzy with wear which also becomes less and less functional. I've been using the Rhodiana Case liked it alot, but found out that my clip-button broke. I was looking for another case and came across the Vaja. I liked this case and just ordered one for my Deluxe.

Boring night...on call

Unhappy Vaja clip useless

I've got the Vaja for my IVX and while I love the case, I find the clip to be virtually useless. The positioning of it is too high, the clip itself has very little tension in it and comes off easily. I just don't even use it, and when I think I'll try it again, I regret it! The case is wonderful, but the clip is a waste.

Talking Love Vaja cases!

I have the Vaja case for the IIIc, Vx, and Ipaq. I love the high quality leather and workmanship and also the belt clip case which is very smooth and easy to use. I was just going to send them an e-mail asking if they were planning on coming out with a Prism case with belt clip and magnetic enclosure so I was overjoyed to see they had. Of course I ordered one right away. It says they will ship in 15 days. The only thing I think I will dislike is the plastic covering the buttons. Maybe I can cut that away. I also ordered an E&B case which I will now alsmot certianly send back. Currently I'm carrying my Prism in a Palm III belt clip case. It fits fine but is not the same protection as an enclosed case. The things I didn't like aobut the old Vaja Visor cases is that they didn't come in black, had a snap enclosure and were not hot syncable. If the hot sync is like their other cases it will take some wear time to be able to sync smoothly though.

Dude, you have a IIIc, Vx, and IPAQ...now a Prism? Are you Batman?

I receive my Vaja Case for my Visor Deluxe (I only have one pda). I've got to say, I'm very impressed. It took only 2 days to come... all the way from Argentina! I thought that the Rhodiana was as close to a perfect case as it gets, but I think the Vaja is much better and much classier than the Rhodiana. The Rhodiana is like my old car, a Honda... good car, dependable, and functional. The Vaja is like my new Lexus... attractive, sexy, and mucho cool factor.

I really love this case for the Prism. However, I am concern that pulling it out of the case all of the time to hot sync/recharge will affect the paint. Thus far that has not been an issue with my prism. I have seen all the threads on that topic and I am concerned.

Anyone currently using the case with a visor? Is it a really snug fit?

Supposedly, you don't need to pull it out of the case - you can synch/recharge it in the thing. At least that's what I was told - I haven't received mine yet.

Has anyone received the Vaja Prism case?

The site says it will ship in "15 days". I assume that's 15 days from the day the order was placed. I'm waiting for mine, wondering if anyone has actually received the Vaja Prism case yet?

I ordered mine two weeks ago...I also contacted them via e-mail. They advised that they have not even started to manufacture the Prism cases yet, but expect to soon. I would received a shipping tracking number when it actually shipped.
No specific timeline.

Looks like the syncable version of this case is never going to see the light of day, I just received this message from Vaja:

--
First of all we want to thank your patience for waiting for our case for the Visor Prism.

We want to communicate you that in our final quality control for the 834 model we had realize that a not all the cases synchronize successfully as to meet our quality standards so we are reclassifying that case as NON SYNC.

Due to this change we want to give you the following options:

1- Void your order and receive a cheque for the charged amount.
2- Change your order to a 831
3- Leave it as it is and receive a non sync 834 with a special discount of 30% due to the inconvenience that we had cause to you.

Please let us know your decision and once again, our apologies and thanks for your interest in our products
--

Kind of a bummer because with out the sync function you have to pull the Prism out of the case everytime you want to sync and charge the batteries. The paint on my prism already looks bad enough. I can't imagine what it would look like after putting it in and out of a case multiple times a day.

Oh well.

Question Which case to reorder?

I got the same email stating that the synchable case is now considered non-synch, so now I have to decide between keeping the order for the now non-synch case or change the order to the snap version. So what do you other visorcentral users recommend, try out the sync type case and hope it works or change to the snap version? FWIW, I'm willing to try the sync case out, I've been a happy Vaja customer since they introduced the Visor Deluxe case, so even if the case doesn't sync it will still be what I'd consider a quality case. Anyhoo, thanks for reading my request for suggestions, I really appreciate you members !!!
