I have a Win98 peer-to-peer network setup at home between my P233 desktop (main), the wife's P166 laptop, and the kids 486/66 (yes, I still have one that works ). All 3 machines are running Win98; SE on the main desktop with ICS enabled.
Neither the laptop or kids machines will allow me to drag-and-drop files over the network. Nor can I copy and paste them from one machine to another... can't even use the menu commands to copy them. Explorer locks-up (not responding). I can, however, push them over from the main system with no problem at all.
Can anyone help explain what might be going on here? I've checked all the obvious stuff: MS client, file & print sharing, TCP/IP, and NetBEUI installed and enabled on all 3 machines. Can't seem to figure this one out.
